Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD framework), and SQL, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java
Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber for test automation
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects
Perform database testing using SQL queries
Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities
Ensure test coverage, traceability, and quality standards are met
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks for scalability and efficiency
Report defects and track them to closure
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in Java programming
Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for automation testing
Experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks
Solid understanding of SQL for database validation
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured) is a plus
