Job Description
Required Skills & Experience:
6-10 years of experience in data engineering with strong Azure Data Platform expertise.
Hands-on experience with:
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Databricks
Delta Lake
Snowflake
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, PySpark (Java/.NET is a plus).
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps & DataOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data security, governance, and information risk.
Expertise in data pipeline design, performance tuning, and large-scale data processing.
Experience in data validation, automated testing, and production readiness practices.
Ability to make technical decisions and evaluate trade-offs (cost, performance, complexity).
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
- Understanding of Data Governance principles and practices
- Implement ETL solutions to integrate data from various sources into Azure Data Lake and Data Warehouse
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PySpark for data processing Expertise in building Power BI dashboards and reports
- Experience in Power BI Service, Gateways, and embedding reports
- Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and row-level security for data access control
