We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Business Analyst – Data Science to drive supply chain optimization initiatives. This role focuses on designing advanced mathematical models and delivering data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
💡 Key Responsibilities
📊 Mathematical Modeling & Optimization
Develop and refine models for inventory management, production planning, transportation, and distribution
Apply advanced techniques such as linear programming, integer programming, network flow, simulation, and heuristics
Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessments
Translate business requirements into optimization models
📈 Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
Ensure data accuracy, preprocessing, and integrity
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve supply chain performance
🚀 Solution Deployment
Present insights and recommendations to business stakeholders
Balance speed to market with analytical rigor
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Project Managers for deployment
🔬 Research & Innovation
Stay updated on Operations Research and Supply Chain Optimization trends
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in analytical approaches
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Optimization / Data Science
Strong expertise in:
Mathematical modeling & optimization techniques
Linear & Integer Programming, Simulation, Heuristics
Programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB
Experience with optimization tools like Gurobi, CPLEX, FICO
Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy
Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
Strong understanding of supply chain concepts:
Demand Forecasting
Inventory Management
Logistics & Distribution
