🔍 About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Technical Lead / Architect – Cloud Engineering to lead the design, development, and scaling of distributed cloud systems.
This role combines hands-on engineering, architecture ownership, and technical leadership, playing a critical role in building and modernizing cloud-native platforms.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and design of scalable distributed systems
Drive development of cloud-native applications and platforms
Modernize legacy systems to microservices-based architectures
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
Define and enforce engineering best practices and standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA)
Mentor and guide engineering teams and technical leads
Drive technical decision-making and solution strategy
🎯 Required Skills
Strong expertise in Cloud Engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Deep understanding of Distributed Systems & System Design
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes & containerization (Docker)
Proficiency in one or more: Java / Python / Go / C++
Experience with Microservices architecture & API design
Strong knowledge of Networking, Storage, and Compute systems
Expertise in High Availability & Fault-Tolerant Design
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
Experience with Observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
⭐ Good to Have
Experience with Streaming platforms (Kafka, etc.)
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CDK)
Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
Experience working on large-scale cloud transformations
