About the Role\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Staff Technical Lead / Architect – Cloud Engineering to lead the design, development, and scaling of distributed cloud systems.\nThis role combines hands-on engineering, architecture ownership, and technical leadership, playing a critical role in building and modernizing cloud-native platforms.\n??? Key Responsibilities\nLead architecture and design of scalable distributed systems\nDrive development of cloud-native applications and platforms\nModernize legacy systems to microservices-based architectures\nEnsure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization\nDefine and enforce engineering best practices and standards\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA)\nMentor and guide engineering teams and technical leads\nDrive technical decision-making and solution strategy\n?? Required Skills\nStrong expertise in Cloud Engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP)\nDeep understanding of Distributed Systems & System Design\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes & containerization (Docker)\nProficiency in one or more: Java / Python / Go / C++\nExperience with Microservices architecture & API design\nStrong knowledge of Networking, Storage, and Compute systems\nExpertise in High Availability & Fault-Tolerant Design\nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills\nExperience with Observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)\n? Good to Have\nExperience with Streaming platforms (Kafka, etc.)\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CDK)\nExperience with Helm, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines\nExposure to AI-assisted development tools\nExperience working on large-scale cloud transformations\n??
