Job Summary\nWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Azure Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, working with Azure cloud services, and supporting enterprise-grade data platforms.\n??? Key Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure services\nBuild and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks\nDevelop solutions using Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL\nCreate and maintain Databricks notebooks (PySpark, Databricks SQL, Delta Lake)\nHandle transformation of structured & semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, XML, CSV)\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams for data requirements and delivery\nMonitor and support production pipelines ensuring SLA adherence\nImplement data warehousing concepts (SCD, dimensional modeling)\nOptimize performance using partitioning, clustering, and tuning techniques\nSupport on-prem to Azure cloud migration projects\nEnsure data security, governance, and compliance\nImplement CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices\nPerform system analysis and reverse engineering where required\nDesign conceptual, logical, and physical data models\n?? Required Skills & Expertise\nHands-on experience with:\nAzure Data Factory (ADF)\nAzure Data Lake\nAzure Synapse Analytics (MPP, Spark)\nAzure SQL Database\nAzure Logic Apps\nStrong programming in PySpark and SQL (CTEs, stored procedures, functions)\nExperience with Databricks and Delta Lake architecture\nGood understanding of:\nData Warehousing concepts\nETL/ELT processes\nData Modeling techniques\nRelational & NoSQL databases\nExperience with data ingestion from FTP, SAP, RDBMS, APIs\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n?? Additional Expectations\nExperience in large-scale data migrations (On-Prem to Cloud)\nAbility to optimize pipelines for varying data volumes\nUnderstanding of DevOps and CI/CD for data platforms\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\n??
