🔍 Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist – Supply Chain Analytics to deliver advanced analytical insights and scalable data science solutions for supply chain operations. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and technology teams to solve complex problems using machine learning, optimization, and data-driven strategies.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to identify business problems and opportunities
Develop POCs and MVPs, and lead them to production deployment
Contribute to and influence machine learning strategy
Design and develop advanced ML and analytical models
Build solutions combining machine learning, simulation, and optimization techniques
Extract insights from large, complex datasets
Deploy models into production for actionable business outcomes
Compare modeling approaches and recommend optimal solutions
Create dashboards, visualizations, and storytelling presentations
Build automated pipelines for model validation, deployment, and monitoring
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and reusable
Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical leadership
Lead peer reviews and drive decision-making through insights
🧠 Required Skills & Expertise
7+ years of experience in Data Science
Strong programming skills in Python / R and querying with SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Scala
Hands-on experience in feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning
Expertise in:
Machine Learning algorithms
Predictive modeling & forecasting
Decision trees & optimization techniques
Deep learning methodologies
Experience with Azure / AWS data platforms (ADF, Data Lake, Azure ML, Synapse, Databricks)
Strong understanding of statistics, evaluation metrics, and data modeling
Experience writing production-quality code, testing, and documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
🎓 Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Master’s degree preferred
🔄 Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Supply Chain domains (Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality)
Industry experience in CPG or Healthcare
Knowledge of:
Pyomo / Mosel
Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO)
Truck Load Optimization
Exposure to NLP, Computer Vision, or AR/VR
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and MLOps frameworks
Understanding of data security practices in ML models
Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production
