The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts\nPerform manual and/or automated testing of web, mobile, and API applications\nIdentify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla\nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements\nConduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)\nValidate fixes and perform re-testing\nEnsure adherence to quality standards and best practices\nPerform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured\nAssist in automation framework development and maintenance (if applicable)\nPrepare test reports and quality metrics\nRequired Skills & Technical Expertise\nStrong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC\nExperience in manual testing and/or test automation\nFamiliarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright\nExperience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)\nKnowledge of bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)\nBasic understanding of databases (SQL) for data validation\nFamiliarity with version control systems (Git)\nUnderstanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)\nExperience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in automation scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript)\nKnowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nExperience in mobile testing (Android/iOS)\nCertifications such as:\nISTQB Certified Tester\nCertified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)\nSoft Skills\nStrong attention to detail\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nGood communication and teamwork abilities\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
