🔍 Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vice President – Private Equity Fund Accounting to lead end-to-end fund accounting operations, financial reporting, valuations, and investor servicing. The role involves managing multi-fund structures, driving transformation initiatives, and leading global teams with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and automation.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end private equity fund accounting operations
Oversee financial reporting, NAV calculations, and valuations
Manage capital calls, distributions, equalizations, and waterfall calculations
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, ASC 946, ASC 820, AIFMD, FATCA/CRS, SOX controls
Drive investor reporting and communication with LPs and auditors
Manage fund launches and lifecycle accounting activities
Lead process transformation and automation initiatives
Oversee system implementations and upgrades
Ensure risk management, governance, and control frameworks
Provide strong people leadership and mentoring across global teams
🧠 Technical Skills & Tools
Private Equity Fund Accounting & Alternative Investments
Allvue, eFront, Yardi, Workiva, Investran
Power BI / Tableau, Alteryx
RPA and process automation tools
Strong knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial instruments

Stakeholder management (LPs, Deal Teams, Auditors)
Global team leadership and performance management
Driving process excellence and operational efficiency
Fund structuring, launches, and lifecycle management
Technology transformation and automation strategy
Strong governance and risk management
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA / ACA preferred
14+ years of experience in Private Equity / Alternative Investments
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
