🚀 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing enterprise-level data models and working with Azure-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data models, working with large datasets, and translating business requirements into efficient data structures.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), staging, integration, analytics, and reporting
Build and maintain end-to-end data models, including data preparation, validation, and BI model calibration
Develop and optimize data structures for reporting and data integration
Perform entity-relationship (ER) design for complex data systems
Lead the creation of an enterprise-wide integrated data view
Manage model version control and governance of data models
Reverse-engineer source systems for EDW data sourcing and integration
Define and implement data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to publish and communicate data models
Develop data movement requirements and technical specifications across EDW layers
Analyze large datasets and convert them into meaningful business insights
🧠 Required Skills & Expertise
5+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture
Strong expertise in T-SQL and writing complex queries
Experience working with:
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
Azure Blob Storage
Azure SQL Database
Good knowledge of Databricks / PySpark
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or PowerDesigner
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and EDW architecture
Experience extracting and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
Solid understanding of consumer product domain terminologies
Familiarity with relational databases and complex data relationships
