We are looking for a highly skilled Python Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs that power data-driven enterprise applications. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering and data platform integration.

You will be responsible for creating clean, scalable, and production-ready Python services that integrate seamlessly with modern data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate writes maintainable code, thinks in systems, and brings strong engineering discipline across the stack.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design and develop RESTful and asynchronous APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
Follow API standards such as OpenAPI / Swagger for documentation and contract definition
Integrate backend services with various data platforms including:
Azure Databricks (Databricks Connect / REST APIs)
Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, SQL Analytics Endpoints, REST APIs)
SQL Server / Azure SQL Database using SQLAlchemy, pyodbc, or ODBC drivers
Other relational and NoSQL data sources
Collaborate with frontend teams (React or similar frameworks) to ensure smooth API integration and data contracts
Design and implement modular, scalable, and reusable code architecture
Ensure proper error handling, logging, and API versioning strategies
Deploy and manage applications on Azure cloud infrastructure
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Follow best practices in coding standards, testing, and documentation
💻 Technical Expertise
Strong experience in:
Python backend development (FastAPI, Flask)
API design and microservices architecture
Experience with:
Azure Cloud (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)
Databricks and Microsoft Fabric integration
SQL & NoSQL databases
Familiarity with:
Docker and containerization
CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
8–12 years of experience in backend development using Python
Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures
Experience in data platform integration and API-based systems
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
