🔍 Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced WordPress & Shopify Developer with strong expertise in CMS-based development and eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will handle both front-end and back-end development, including theme customization, plugin/app integration, and performance optimization.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
Customize WordPress and Shopify themes based on client requirements.
Develop custom WordPress plugins and integrate Shopify apps & third-party tools.
Build and manage eCommerce stores including product setup, payment gateways, and checkout customization.
Ensure website performance, security, scalability, and availability.
Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams for project execution.
Perform testing, debugging, and cross-browser compatibility checks.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues for clients and internal teams.
Manage updates, backups, and version control processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web and eCommerce development.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3–5 years of proven experience in WordPress & Shopify development.
Strong proficiency in:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Liquid (Shopify)
Hands-on experience with:
WooCommerce & Shopify eCommerce features
Strong understanding of:
Website architecture, UI/UX, and performance optimization
Familiarity with:
MySQL databases
Version control systems (Git)
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CMS platforms like Joomla, Drupal, HubSpot
Knowledge of SEO best practices & on-page optimization
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
Understanding of web security and speed optimization
Experience with API integrations and payment gateways
