About the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to deliver critical insights and intelligence to cross-functional Supply Chain teams through scalable data science solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology teams to translate complex business problems into advanced analytical solutions.\n\nThe ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and programming expertise to rapidly test hypotheses, build models, and communicate actionable insights in a structured and impactful manner.\n\n??? Key Responsibilities\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand key business problems and opportunities\nDevelop POCs (Proof of Concepts) and MVPs, and lead them through full production deployment\nInfluence and contribute to machine learning strategy across digital initiatives\nRecommend solutions balancing speed, scalability, and analytical rigor\nDesign and develop advanced analytical and machine learning models using Python, R, TensorFlow, etc.\nBuild model-based solutions combining ML algorithms with techniques like simulation and optimization\nExtract insights from large, multi-dimensional datasets using advanced algorithms\nDeploy models into production systems to generate actionable business insights\nCompare multiple modeling approaches and recommend optimal solutions\nDesign and visualize solutions using storytelling, dashboards, and presentations\nDevelop automated pipelines for model validation, deployment, and monitoring\nWork across AI domains including data science, cognitive engineering, and conversational AI\nEnsure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and reusable\nMentor junior data scientists and provide technical leadership\nLead peer reviews and influence decision-making through strong communication\nShare best practices and foster collaboration across teams and geographies\n?? Required Skills & Expertise\n7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist\nStrong programming skills in Python / R and querying using SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Scala\nHands-on experience in feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning\nExpertise in:\nMachine Learning algorithms\nPredictive modeling & forecasting\nDecision trees & optimization techniques\nDeep learning methodologies\nExperience with Azure or AWS data platforms (ADF, Data Lake, Azure ML, Synapse, Databricks)\nStrong understanding of statistics, evaluation metrics, and data modeling techniques\nExperience writing production-quality code, tests, and documentation\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills\n?? Educational Qualification\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)\n??
