Key Responsibilities
· Manage and administer Oracle 19c RAC and standalone databases on Unix/Linux platforms
· Perform database design, implementation, and performance tuning
· Lead and support multiple projects, including migrations and upgrades
· Ensure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies are in place and optimized
· Handle on-call support (weekdays/weekends in shifts) for production systems
· Install, upgrade, and patch Oracle RAC clusters and databases
· Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
· Administer Data Guard, ASM, ACFS, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
· Monitor databases using tools like DataDog and OEM
· Troubleshoot critical production issues and lead incident calls
· Work on cloud database platforms (IaaS & managed services)
· Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins
· Optimize DR strategies with a focus on RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective)
