🔍 About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Program Manager with a strong foundation in software development to lead large-scale enterprise data modernization programs within the BFSI domain.
This role requires a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and modern architectural patterns, combined with strong expertise in program governance, delivery management, and stakeholder leadership.
You will act as a critical bridge between business, architecture, and engineering teams, ensuring seamless execution, alignment, and regulatory compliance.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🚀 Program & Delivery Management
Own end-to-end delivery of data modernization programs
Define and manage program plans, milestones, and dependencies
Track program health across scope, schedule, cost, and risks
Drive resolution of technical and delivery challenges
Manage multi-vendor and multi-technology delivery environments
🧠 Technical Oversight & Architecture Alignment
Provide technical leadership backed by hands-on development experience
Review and guide architecture/design for:
Data Lakehouse solutions
Analytics & reporting platforms
Data ingestion & integration pipelines
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
Guide teams on:
Cloud-based data platforms
Distributed data processing
Performance & scalability
📊 Data & Technology Landscape
Strong understanding of:
Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
Data warehousing fundamentals
Analytics & BI ecosystems
Knowledge of data modeling:
Star Schema
Fact & Dimension modeling
Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
Experience or exposure to:
Informatica (PowerCenter / BDM / IDMC)
SSIS
.NET / Power BI-based data solutions
Conceptual understanding of:
Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Infrastructure (compute, storage, networking basics)
🤝 Stakeholder & Governance Management
Act as the primary interface for:
Business stakeholders
Architecture teams
Risk, compliance & audit teams
Ensure adherence to BFSI regulatory and data governance standards
Present executive-level program updates
Manage change control, approvals, and baseline tracking
👥 Team Leadership & Enablement
Lead cross-functional teams including:
Architects
Data Engineers
ETL Developers
QA & Support Teams
Foster collaboration across delivery units
Mentor leaders on technical decision-making and delivery excellence
🎯 Required Qualifications
✔️ Experience
17+ years of overall IT experience
Strong early-career background in software development
7+ years in program or large-scale delivery management
Proven experience delivering data platforms/analytics programs in BFSI
💻 Technical Skills (Must Have)
Strong knowledge of:
Data Lakehouse architectures
ETL/Data integration frameworks
Data warehousing concepts
Hands-on exposure (past or present):
.NET / Informatica / SSIS or similar stack
Working knowledge of:
Data modeling (Star Schema, Facts, Dimensions)
Cloud & hybrid environments
Infrastructure fundamentals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
Excellent stakeholder management & leadership presence
Strong documentation and presentation skills
